- Device Information: We collect technical data such as IP addresses, device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to optimize app performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Usage Data: We may track how you interact with the app (e.g., features used, duration of sessions) to improve user experience.
2. Sensitive Permissions
The core functionality of fakeCall requires access to specific device features. We handle these with the highest level of privacy:
- Camera: Used only during simulated video calls to provide a realistic "mirror" effect. We do not record, save, or transmit any video data.
- Microphone: Used during simulated calls to allow you to interact with the prank. No audio is recorded, stored, or shared.
- Storage/Gallery: Used only to allow you to select and upload custom profile pictures for your prank callers.
3. Third-Party Services
We partner with trusted third-party providers to enhance our app's functionality:
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect data such as your advertising ID to serve personalized ads.
- Supabase: Used for secure database management and user authentication. All data is encrypted and handled according to industry standards.
4. Data Security & Retention
We implement robust security measures to protect your data. Account information is stored in encrypted databases. Since we do not record audio or video, there is no retention of sensitive media. You can request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the app settings or by contacting us.
5. Children's Privacy
fakeCall is intended for entertainment purposes for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will take immediate steps to delete it.
